EMILY KAZYAK
Emily Kazyak is an award-winning sociologist who studies sexuality in American culture, politics, and law.
She has researched topics ranging from the evolution of laws regulating marriage and parenthood, gays and lesbians in small towns, and the family relationships of LGBTQ people.
Emily is currently Professor and Graduate Chair of Sociology & Women’s and Gender Studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she teaches courses in law, social theory, and LGBTQ studies.
